At what age should my child first visit the dentist?
Children are encouraged to visit the doctor once they are one year old. At this point, we like to introduce them to oral hygiene and have them become comfortable sitting in the dentist’s chair.

How should I prepare my child for their first visit?
We recommend when parents come in for their dental checkup, they bring their child with them who is preparing for their first visit. This gives the children an opportunity to see mom or dad in the dentist’s chair and become familiar and comfortable with the environment. Toys are available for the children to play with and we encourage children to take a ride in the dentist’s chair. All these add up to a positive experience for the child, making the first visit a pleasant one.

How often should I visit the dentist?
Although every person’s circumstance is different, most patients visit the dentist every 3-6 months.

I have considered cosmetic dentistry to improve my smile, can I arrange a consultation to review my options?
Yes and consultations are free. We can sit down with you and discuss what your interests are. We will discuss your options, take photos and show a video of how cosmetic dentistry will improve your smile.

What is the best approach for whitening my teeth?
There are two options. One is the Zoom approach, which is a whitening gel that is applied at the dentist’s office. Teeth typically become a number of shades brighter within an hour or so. The second option is the gradual approach. The gradual approach allows an individual to take home a custom made bleaching kit and whiten their teeth in the comforts of their own home. You’ll begin to see results within days and approximately one-two weeks for whitening to fully develop.

Can you provide solutions for bad breath?
Bad breath is an unpleasant condition that can cause embarrassment for anyone. If you’re concerned about bad breath we can help identify the cause. If it’s due to an oral condition, we can develop a treatment plan to help eliminate it.

Are cosmetic services covered by insurance plans?
Most insurance plans typically do not cover cosmetic services, however, our office will check with your insurance to find out any options that are available.

What arrangements can I make for payment?
We provide a 5% adjustment discount for all cash payments that are made before treatment is administered. A 12-month interest free dental financing program is also available. For more information call our dental administrators and they will be happy to talk with you to you about the number of plans that are offered.

How do I reach my dentist in an emergency?
Our office has a 24-hour voice mail answering machine that provides pager numbers for you to call if an emergency occurs outside of office hours.

What insurance plans do you accept and what does my insurance cover?
Our dental administrators are willing to discuss options for insurance with you at any time and can be reached at 414.764.6070. We accept many different plans. Our dental administrators are available to help you with your questions. Insurance coverage varies from plan to plan, but in most cases we
Are able to check your plan’s benefits prior to your first visit to our office.

Can I select my dentist or hygienist?
Appointments are always arranged to meet your schedule, however we can accommodate personal preferences of a particular dentist or hygienist to meet your requests.
